I don’t usually do book reviews on the Blog, but I'm making an exception for my Blogger Buddy Jennifer Hillier whose debut thriller, CREEP, came out last week and which I finished reading over the weekend.

Did it thrill?

Ah, yes.

Did it chill?

To the bone.

Being an avid watcher of Criminal Minds, there’s not much I haven’t seen, read about or watched. Consequently there isn’t much about human beings that shock me.

And jeez, human beings, as we all know, being a mix of good and evil, can be really, well…

Yeah, I’ll leave it for you to decide.

I really enjoyed CREEP. If I wasn’t a follower of her blog and had just randomly picked it up at a bookstore, I wouldn’t have guessed it was a first novel. Well written, well-executed and with well-rounded characters there didn’t appear to be any ‘first time author glitches’ that you can sometimes come across with new novels.

Of course, living in London and using the tube, if you’re holding a book that says CREEP you’re bound to get some odd looks, which I did.

But I didn’t mind, Jennifer, honest! J
