My friend who also writes, asked me to send my first chapter of my second novel so they could read it.
Now I was a bit hesitant because it’s a first draft. We all know how awful those are.
Though I think my writing is getting better earlier on due to what I learnt while writing my first novel, it’s still a first draft.
My friend says that reading work from others helps them get motivation and inspiration for their own work

I’ve always let the inspiration come to me while I type (and maybe surf the Internet a little bit). It just shows the different ways people get their inspiration.
